ABOUT
Pablo Valley is a singer-songwriter based in London. Born and raised in Toulouse in a Spanish family, Pablo’s music combines signature confessional narratives with captivating melodies. Pablo penned his first song at age eleven and has since been on a journey of musical exploration and expression, currently studying pop music at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. His music is a constant journey in search of the magic formula, studying the ingredients of what makes the perfect pop song: a well-crafted fusion of melody and lyrics with a large sprinkling of relatability.
In August 2023, Pablo released his debut EP, Midas Touch, a work inspired by Greek mythology. Midas Touch weaves a compelling tale of beauty, loss, and grief. Each track of the EP is part of a larger narrative, woven together with a delicate touch that is a testament to Pablo’s world-building ability, executing the concept with catchy melodies with an experimental flair.
As he prepares for upcoming releases, Pablo has taken a magnifying glass on his past, reflecting on the origins of his compulsive need to write songs. His self-described “confessional pop on ecstasy” is a hug to his inner child, a vein in which to release emotion and freeze it into song.
He cites his dad as one of his major musical influences: his love of classical music shaped Pablo’s affinity with music during the early years of his life.
Pablo studied piano and vocals classically and later discovered a passion for musical theatre, spending most of his teenage years rehearsing and performing.
Growing up as a third culture kid, Pablo’s quest for identity has provoked a curious blend of influences which can be heard throughout his music. He is a chameleon, but that’s where he finds his niche. As Walt Whitman says, “I contain multitudes”, and Pablo Valley certainly has much to offer.
